Also, perceived contour displacement in the direction of the more eccentric dots was larger in the right visual field (see below figure, the first three slashed bars of the left bar group) than in the left visual field (see below figure, the first three slashed bars of the right bar group), perhaps because of a hemispheric asymmetry in attentional allocation between the two hemispheres, e.g. a right hemispherical (thus a left hemifield) dominance in spatial attention allocation.
